Steve began his hospitality career in the kitchen, but quickly found his passion for the front of house, eventually becoming a sought-after General Manager known for his ability to take operations teams and properties to the next level. He has a broad range of experience having worked in noted properties in both the US and abroad including Aspen’s Hotel Jerome, Anguilla’s Malliouhana and Montana’s Ranch at Rock Creek. Steve also has extensive knowledge and experience in property development, acquisition and investment services, keenly focused on the effective execution of the asset at every stage in its business cycle.

Having led teams at five Forbes Five-Star properties, all uniquely different hospitality operations, his industry experience is vast and includes Ritz-Carlton (OH & HI) The Little Nell, The Hermitage Hotel, Ted Turner’s Vermejo Reserve and C Lazy U Ranch. Chef Cory is known culinarily for his live-fire cooking, which has received accolades from Food & Wine Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.
